With change in Gmail's policy for third party apps accessing gmail accounts, google has restricted access to third party apps trying to connect with your gmail accounts.
While we work with gmail to get this access, you can still continue to connect your apps with SmartReach.io by connecting in a special manner.
You can follow the steps notified here to connect your @gmail.com accounts with SmartReach.io . However if you face any issues with the connection, you can follow these steps to troubleshoot your account.
If you are getting this error "Please log in via your web browser and then try again" follow these steps
- Go to a new tab in your browser, open your @gmail.com account in the browser. Make sure you sign-out any other @gmail.com accounts. ( and also that you are not in Incognito mode)
- If it still persists, visit https://www.google.com/accounts/DisplayUnlockCaptcha and follow the steps on the page.
- If you recently changed your Gmail password, you might need to re-enter your Gmail account information or completely repeat your Gmail account setup on your other email client.
- If the issue still persists, try changing your gmail password and reconnect in SmartReach.io using the same steps.
