You can use your @gmail.com with smartreach.io by enabling the Less secure apps and IMAP Access features in your gmail account. 

Steps to enable "Less secure apps" and IMAP access in your gmail, and then connect it in your SmartReach.io account:

Step 1: Go to https://myaccount.google.com

Step 2: Sign in with your gmail account. 

Step 3: Go to Security 

Step 4: Go to Less Secure Apps Access and click on Turn On Access. 

Step 5: Toggle the Less Secure App feature ON

Step 6: Open your gmail account. Go to Settings

Step 7: Go to Forwarding and POP/IMAP and Enable IMAP Access.

Step 9: Connect your gmail account on smartreach.io by going to Settings--> Email
Account --> Add Email Account --> Other SMTP and IMAP account. 

Use the following hosts / ports for SMTP, IMAP:

For SMTP, use:
Host: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 465 (or 587)

For IMAP, use:
Host: imap.gmail.com
Port: 993

Fill out the other details and click "Test & Save settings"


Important Note: This will work if the account does not have 2 step authentication
If you have 2FA enabled, you can disable it by repeating step 1-3 and in Step 4 disable 2 step authentication

Steps to enable Less secure apps in your G-Suite account:

Step 1:  Sign in to your Google Admin console (Sign in using an administrator account, not your current account

Step 2:  Goto Security --> Basic Settings 

Step 3: Goto Less Secure Apps Section and select go to settings of less secure apps

Step 4: In the sub-window, select the Allow users to manage their access to less secure apps radio button.

Step 5: Users in the organisation can now goto their individual accounts to set their access to less secure apps. 

Important Note: This will work if the account does not have 2 step authentication
If you have 2FA, you can disable it by repeating step 1-3 and in Step 4 disable 2 step authentication
